UNICEF is actively involved in the protection of people, including children, and plays a significant role in the development of the global social system. One of them relates to the community's overall needs, which must be taken into account in order to offer a sense of security and comfort. One aspect of life that has a significant impact on people is the environment. Similar circumstances apply to Indians who require this feeling of safety and comfort. However, water and environmental sanitation issues are to blame for the drought that is currently affecting India. Regarding this, UNICEF naturally makes reference to the situation of water and sanitation issues that annoy and insecure people in India as an organization that helps establish protection for the community and also sees this as an imperative. The goal of this study is to evaluate UNICEF's contribution to the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program's efforts to address India's water and sanitation issues. Utilizing library research, a descriptive qualitative research methodology was applied. The study's findings demonstrate UNICEF's extensive efforts to ensure the best possible implementation of the WASH program, including its support of the education sector. Additionally, UNICEF plays a crucial role as an arena for collaboration, communication, and the development of cooperative program planning and implementation. The existence of multinational organizations can serve as an effective unifier amongst these countries to achieve goals when they have members from different regions in other nations. This communication venue can complement one another. Such discussions organized by UNICEF with LIXIL, UNILEVER and Xylem created several outcomes to compensate for the shortcomings in WASH program actions. In addition, UNICEF has acted as an independent actor, developing programs and partnerships to address sanitation and water issues in India. It is evident that various concepts of policies are based on the framework created by UNICEF itself without any pressure from other parties. In practice, UNICEF has successfully influenced the policies of its members to focus on the survival of children and especially on clean water and sanitation.
