This study aims to determine the role of Greenpeace in dealing with peatland forest fires in Riau. Greenpeace as an international global environmental organization engaged in environmental campaigns. Indonesia's annual forest fire and annual peatlands in Riau Province are cr ises caused by people using land for agricultural land management that can affect human health. Greenpeace Indonesia protects, prevents, extinguishes fires on Riau's peatlands for efforts to reduce peatland forest fires. The theory used is NGO theory Non - Government Organization and role concept. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative approach and using secondary data.
