Strategi Cina dalam Mewujudkan Hegemoni Ekonomi di ASEAN Melalui E-Commerce

Economic transformation in telecommunication technology or ecommerce, push the economy of a country to grow progressively. The phenomenon of distruption industrialization in this era of globalization is very important in building the economic integrity of a country. China is one of the country which has the capacity of productivity industry to adopt ecommerce. With a gradual economic improvement since the adoption of ecommerce, China needs a wider market to distribute its industrial production through ecommerce. Southeast Asia region through ASEAN is a considered organization region to integrate with Chinese market. This study aims to analyze China's strategy in realizing economic hegemony in ASEAN through ecommerce. In analyzing the case the author uses the perspective of international political economy and this research using qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the strategy undertaken by China in the ecommerce ecosystem of ASEAN through government collaboration and ecommerce platform through investment so it can affect hegemony of China's economy in ASEAN.
