T his study discusses The Defense Strategy of Indonesia in The Threat Tackling of Tiongkok In Natuna (2011 - 2016) . This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive m e t h o d o f a n aly sis . That was related to the phenomena that lead to the conflict situational, with the abuses of illegal fishing and claim the EEZ of Indonesia in the norther of the Natuna Island by Tiongkok . From those violations, it is clear that Tiongkok had violated in the provision of the International Law considered under the United Nations Convention on The Law of The Sea (UN CLOS) in the sovereign rights and had violated in the national law of the Republic of Indonesia. Certainly, those all had became of the threat to the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. To tackling the threats that came from the external pa rty related of the territorial integrity, this studyused strategie Use of Force in the concept defensive. The Use of Force has purpose of the maintaining so vereignty and achieving the state’s interest .
