Analisis Peran United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) dalam Melindungi Anak dari Prostitusi di Thailand Tahun 2013 – 2015

This research is conducted to analyze the role of UNICEF in protecting children from prostitution in Thailand. The researcher applies paradigm of liberalism approach which shows that a country is not one and only actor in international relations. The periodization of this research is limited between 2013 until 2015. The periodization is selected because the arrival of tourists has been increasing since 2013 in Thailand which results the demand for children prostitution increases. This research is a qualitative research, using international organization theory and the concept of human security. The results of this research indicate that the role of UNICEF in protecting children from prostitution is by applying various activities in UNICEF’s Child Trafficking Programme. The activities include prevention, identification of victims, and recovery ‒ reinteregation.
