This study aims to analyze the control of FIR (Flight Information Region) in Riau Islands by Singapore related to DCA (Defense Cooperation Agreement) Indonesia-Singapore. This research is a qualitative research using realist perspective and national security concept. In order to strengthen the results of the analysis, this study used SWOT analysis method to strengthen the results of the research and also supported by interviews with resource persons from experts and related government agencies such as Dispotdirga AU. The results of this study indicate that the control of FIR in Riau Islands by Singapore, disrupting Indonesian sovereignty and also has the potential to threaten Indonesia's territory, in the case of the DCA between the governments of Indonesia and Singapore. This issue needs to be a serious concern for Indonesia government because a country should be able to fully sovereign within its own territory of sovereignty. DCA could be an opportunity for FIRs in the Riau Islands to be returned by Singapore to Indonesia, if Indonesia could see the DCA as something that could be used to push the Singapore government, so the Singapore government can return the FIRs in Riau Islands to Indonesia.
