Pelanggaran HAM Muslim Etnis Uighur oleh Pemerintah Cina di Xinjiang

This article analyzes about issue of the rights of the Muslim ethnic Uighur group which have been violated by the Chinese government. It is undeniable the violations of human rights are still rampant. One of the cases is the crimes against humanity against the Uighur Islamic group committed by the Chinese government. The article purpose is to find out what forms of crimes against humanity have been committed by the government of Chinese so that they are classified as violations of human rights. This study used qualitative type research. Data obtained by literature study that is appropriate and relevant to the topic related to this research. The literature used by the researcher is in the form of books, journals, documents, articles, and official internet sites collected through the harzing application with the keywords Uighur Muslims and human rights violations. The analysis of this article is a descriptive analysis which results that the Chinese government is proven to have violated the human rights of the Uighur Islamic group by not giving them freedom and violating the political, security, economic, and socio-cultural rights of the Uighur Islamic ethnic group.
