This study aims to describe how the role of Korean Wave to the growth of the South Korean creative industry with a case study Korean drama Descendants of the Sun in China. Author used the Paradigm of Liberalism, and Soft Diplomacy Theory. This typ e of research is a wualitibge research with descriptive method. The Results of this study show that the role of Korean Wave with the Case study Korean Drama Descendants of the Sun in China can bring as tool for engaging Chinese. Disseminating South Korean Culture in China, Promoting South Korea tourist destinations, enchanging Sotuh Korea‟s creative Industry, creating cooperation relationship with other countries.
