This research asks research questions about How Factor Failure Analysis Referendum Catalunya In 2006 - 2017. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method of analysis. In this study, the authors describe the factors underlying Catalunya's desire to separate from Spain, and explain the dynamics of Catalunya's political ties with Spain before and after the enactment of the new Catalunya autonomy law revised by the Catalunya parliament, then four years after the enactment of the law, the Spanish constitutional court declared that the new law was unconstitutional and violated the Spanish Constitution and uprooted a previously approved 'state' status on Catalunya. After the policy was set by the people of Catalunya rallied on the streets of Barcelona, not until there Catalunya continue to do secession efforts to the peak on October 1 to vote for a referendum of independence Catalunya unilaterally. The results of this study show that the main factor of Catalunya's failure in its attempt to secede, that is the 155th Spanish Constitution which has the power of law to be able to reclaim control of autonomous community institutions in circumstances that harm the public interest of Spain.
