Abstract

Iran's nuclear program is still in the world spotlight. Starting from the issue of making nuclear weapons until in 2015 Iran was willing to sign a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement. But the change of President of the United States from Barrack Obama to Donald Trump gave rise to new dynamics. In 2018, changes in Iran's policy regarding Iran's nuclear program will change after Donald Trump unilaterally withdraws from the JCPOA. Although Iran is a member of the IAEA and has complied with the NPT, the United States still accuses Iran of making nuclear weapons and a threat to world peace. The purpose of this thesis is to answer how the Iranian Government's policy in responding to the cancellation of the JCPOA agreement. The method used in this research is the perspective of realism and foreign policy concepts.
